Man those look really nice!

So, I’ve never really thought about it before, but are longer paddles a popular mod in the paddleshift community, to the same extent that short-throw shifters are among stickshift owners?

Thanks man.

So the way I see it is many performance cars with DCTs come with paddles very small and very “consumer-y”. Where as some of the big players in the supercar world have large paddles.

Just one hour of driving with them:

1. they feel special compared to the normal OEM ones

2. I can already tell the springing the steering wheel around a corner and “trying” to grab a paddle is already going away. Note - this is only a problem with cars like mine where the paddles go with the steering wheel. A lot of Italian cars Ferrari’s, the new Alfa’s, have paddles that are always at 9 and 3.

I've always wondered which would feel more natural with performance driving. The only cars I've driven with paddles have been economy cars. Various Subarus, and other makes that are too boring to really benefit

It is all one big first world problem.

My DCT paddles aren’t long enough.
